Every bag we supply passes through the same controlled sequence — from granule to woven fabric to a printed, stitched and inspected sack. Knowing these stages helps you specify exactly the bag your product needs.
Every order starts with virgin polypropylene or HDPE granules chosen for the strength, clarity and food-contact suitability the application needs. Additives such as UV stabiliser are added where the bags will be stored or transported in sunlight.
The granules are melted and extruded into a thin film, which is slit into flat tapes and stretched over heated rollers. Stretching orients the polymer chains and is what gives a PP woven bag its tensile strength. Tape width and denier are set to match the GSM required for the bag.
The tapes are wound on bobbins and woven on circular looms into a continuous tubular fabric. Mesh count (warp and weft per inch) is controlled here, because it determines fabric GSM, breathability and load rating.
Where a moisture barrier or high-definition branding is needed, the woven fabric is laminated with a PP film, or BOPP printed film is laminated to the fabric for photographic-quality multicolour graphics. Plain woven bags skip this stage.
For standard bags, brand name, product details, weight markings and statutory information are flexo printed in one or more colours directly on the fabric using your approved artwork.
Fabric is cut to the ordered size and stitched into open-mouth, bottom-stitched, block-bottom or valve-type bags. Liners, gussets, handles, hem folds and box stitching are added according to the specification confirmed on your order.
Bags are checked for size, GSM, print registration, stitching quality and visible defects, then counted, bundled or baled and packed for dispatch to your plant or warehouse.
